He left San Diego as a 2 time winner of <strong>\u2018The Best Acoustic Act\u2019<\/strong> at the prestigious <strong>San Diego Music Awards<\/strong>. In the US, <strong>NBC<\/strong> featured Colin in a top 12 list of best singer songwriters associated with San Diego in among <strong><em>Tom Waits<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Jewel<\/em><\/strong> and the late <strong><em>Jim Croce<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his previous album, <strong>Doricana<\/strong>, <strong>The Never Ending Pageant<\/strong> was produced by <strong>Grammy Award Winning Engineer<\/strong>, <strong><em>Alan Sanderson<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>(The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Ryan Adams, Burt Bacharach).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>STV (Scottish TV)<\/strong> hailed Colin as a <em>&#8216;&#8230;rising star of Scotland&#8230;&#8217;<\/em> with <strong>The Sun<\/strong> newspaper describing his &#8216;The Never Ending Pageant&#8217; album&nbsp; as <em>&#8216;&#8230;a glorious selection of folk and county rock numbers&#8230;&#8217;<\/em> akin to <strong><em>Ryan Adams<\/em><\/strong> or <strong><em>Bruce Springsteen<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Clyne has become a seasoned road vet, impressing crowds at venues from&nbsp; Hollywood\u2019s infamous Viper Room to Aberdeen, Scotland&#8217;s The Blue Lamp. He has racked up numerous festivals appearances including <strong>The<\/strong> <strong>Tartan Heart Festival (Belladrum), Southern Fried Festival<\/strong>, <strong>Enjoy Music Festival<\/strong>, <strong>True North<\/strong> and sold out <strong>The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.<\/strong> Clyne appeared at the 2012 Stonehaven Hogmanay Party in Scotland, where he opened the stage for International touring band <strong><em>The Red Hot Chilli Pipers<\/em><\/strong> in front of 6,000 party goers.<\/p>\n<p>He has also shared the stage with the likes of <strong><em>Dave Arcari<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>James Grant (Love &amp; Money)<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Big Country<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Donnie Munro (Runrig)<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Justin Currie (Del Amitri)<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Skerryvore<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Mark Olsen (Jayhawks), Nigel Clark (Dodgy) <\/em><\/strong>and performed at a VIP event for <strong><em>Elton John<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Radio play for Colin&#8217;s most recent single releases (Where The Ships Go To Die, You Can&#8217;t Wish A Good Guy Away, Within Hindsight and Wishing Winter Away) and his back catalogue continue to be celebrated with airplay from <strong><em>\u201cWhispering\u201d Bob Harris<\/em><\/strong> on <strong>BBC Radio 2<\/strong>, <strong><em>Keith Greentree<\/em><\/strong> with <strong>BBC Radio Norfolk<\/strong>, <strong><em>Baylen Leonard<\/em><\/strong> of <strong>BBC London\/Amazing Radio<\/strong>, <strong>Chris Hawkins<\/strong> on <strong>BBC Radio 6 Music<\/strong>, <strong>Iain Anderson<\/strong> on <strong>BBC Scotland<\/strong>, <strong>BBC Radio Nan Gaidheal<\/strong>, <strong>BBC Radio Cumbria<\/strong>, <strong>BBC Radio Shropshire<\/strong>, <strong>BBC Tees<\/strong>, <strong>BBC&nbsp;<\/strong><b>Merseyside<\/b>, <strong>BBC Hereford &amp;&nbsp;<\/strong><b>Worcester<\/b>, <strong>BBC Cambridgeshire, BBC Suffolk,<\/strong> <strong>Amazing Radio<\/strong>, <strong>XFM<\/strong>, <strong>Best Country Radio (<em>The Iceman<\/em>)<\/strong>, <strong>Roots &amp; Fusion<\/strong>, <strong>Chris Country Radio<\/strong>, <strong>UKCountryRadio<\/strong>, <strong>Blues &amp; Roots Radio<\/strong> and many more radio stations across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2023, Clyne&#8217;s new band <strong>The Broken Creels<\/strong> released their debut single &#8216;Friend or Foe&#8217; to some critical acclaim.
