{"id":1252,"date":"2023-05-10T11:49:20","date_gmt":"2023-05-10T11:49:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/colinclyne.com\/?p=1252"},"modified":"2023-05-10T11:49:20","modified_gmt":"2023-05-10T11:49:20","slug":"happy-13th-birthday-to-doricana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/colinclyne.com\/?p=1252","title":{"rendered":"Happy 13th Birthday to Doricana!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/colinclyne.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/doricana.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/colinclyne.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/doricana.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1253\" srcset=\"https:\/\/colinclyne.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/doricana.jpg 300w, https:\/\/colinclyne.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/doricana-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>My album Doricana turns 13 years old today!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a funny one as it consisted of songs from two separate sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three of the songs came from a session in 2008 that was going to be an album called \u2018Torn Between Two Everyrhings\u2019, overall we did 8 or 9 full band songs and decided to keep \u2018Good for something\u2019, \u2018Into my Garden\u2019 and \u2018Peace in my mind\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, i put them on the back burner to go out and play live as much as i could as I wasn\u2019t vocally ready or good enough to sing those songs at that point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other session was held in Signature sound studios (San Diego) sometime in January 2010.
